On October 26, Goodwin’s Neighborhood Business Initiative will co-host a free Food Labeling & Packaging Workshop: Design, Marketing, Intellectual Property and Products Liability at Boston’s WeWork South Station (745 Atlantic Ave) from 6-8 p.m.
During the workshop, Samuel Adams employees and lawyers from Goodwin will present on key business and legal issues in food and beverage labeling that affect entrepreneurs and small businesses in the food and beverage industry. Attendees will learn about trademark and other intellectual property law, creating and building a brand, and the fine print and product liability related to products.
NBI is a program founded and run by Goodwin to bring business and legal services to entrepreneurs and small-business owners in Greater Boston, New York and California, who are members of underserved communities, or whose businesses positively impact underserved neighborhoods.
