Last week, I attended the MassChallenge global start-up competition and accelerator 2011 awards ceremony where the 2011 finalists were announced at the Boston Convention Center. Speakers included Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Life Is Good co-founder Bert Jacobs. Alkeus Pharmaceuticals, Sanergy and Tinfoil Security each took home $100,000 cash awards as the top winners in the $1 million competition, and 14 other start-ups were each awarded $50,000.
For more details about this year’s competition go to the MassChallenge website.
